One of the most beautiful spots (dare we say it) in the world . . . This project was a total joy. We watched the tide move in and out each day and bring with it an ever changing array of waders and water fowl (and a kayaker or two). This house was designed by Eugene architect Rob Thallon, Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Oregon. We took a ho hum 35 year old A-frame and turned it into a spectacular and comfortable home that does the gorgeous surroundings justice. Many materials were recycled from the old house and nearby stable including: Supporting beams, Ceiling boards, Pantry boards and Cedar Rain gutters.
